A group of Red Rock Audubon members enjoyed a blustery morning on Mount Charleston. The sun was shining and there were still some pockets of snow on the hillsides. Things were a bit uncomfortable until we got further into the hike and were sheltered from the wind.
Many thanks to Ben for his excellent guiding. We saw a lot of beautiful cedar waxwings, a personal favorite of mine.
Afterward, most of us opted for a late breakfast at the Mount Charleston Lodge Restaurant. Great times with great friends.
