On April 23rd, 20 volunteers from Red Rock Audubon, Master Gardeners, Nye Communities Coalition Youth Works and community members planted 200 milkweeds and other pollinator plants in the new 5,000 sq. ft. Milkweed Pollinator Way-station on Discovery Park.  The project was supervised by Doyle Wayman with the Southern Nevada Milkweed Project.  The weather was perfect and friends both old and new had a fun day making a difference for the Monarch/Queen Butterflies and other pollinators.
