Red Rock Audubon members volunteered at Bioblitz, a Clark County Wetlands Park family friendly event. Held on April 28th, the public was invited to become naturalists by exploring the park and identifying as many plants and animals as they could. Stations were set up around the park where volunteers could answer questions. Jeanne and Bob Andrew helped out with bird identification. Liz LaRue shared mammal facts. Angel Poe led a bird walk for youths. Nancy Chang was chief hand sanitizer for those who wished an up close and personal experience with a reptile. Sharing nature with children will help to grow the next generation of conservationists. Red Rock Audubon is fortunate to have dedicated members who share their time and knowledge in pursuit of this goal.
